The Lixit chew guards are designed to protect water bottles against animal chewing. Constructed with heavy-duty, premium galvanized steel and made in the USA, the Lixit chew guard comes with a Deluxe spring bottle holder and a full cap protection shield. The chew guard can fit most brands of bottles and is available in three different sizes: 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz.
The Lixit chew guard and bottle holder have been manufactured in the USA for over 40 years. Unlike other chew guards, Lixit uses bare metal with no paint, ensuring that parts designed to prevent chewing will not be compromised by scuffed-up paint that could potentially be ingested by your pet.
The Lixit Chew guard is compatible with both wire cages and glass aquarium cages, providing full protection for your pet's water bottle. The wrap-around bottle protection, along with the lower cover on the tube and cap assembly, ensures that the bottle is securely held in place by the spring tension.
The 8oz chew guard is compatible with standard 8oz Lixit bottles, but it is not compatible with Lixit wide mouth bottles, glass bottles, or top-fill bottles.
The Lixit chew guard is suitable for pets of all life stages.
